Good morning, surf's up on Simpson Bay Beach this morning at BSV. Not much beach today but the sargassum moved to the other side of the island. Emanuel is cleaning up what little there is. The beach has been a pretty good size up until last night.

We haven’t had the depth of BSV experiences as so many others who routinely stay there but there was one trip we couldn’t get to the pool rear entrance steps without stepping into the water from our steps but the next morning the surf was back where it belonged and the rear entrance was from the sand. It was wild and the steep drop-off was huge. Thank heavens it didn’t last too long.🙂🙂

Respectfully,

pat

Glad to hear that the seaweed is gone, at least at the moment. How are you enjoying your trip overall?

Thanks Carol, we are definitely enjoying BSV and we'll be back. Vicky and Emanuel have been great. Been taking a swim in front of the unit most days and staying up later than usual at night (for us) enjoying the back porch.

The trip has been very relaxing with low season and all. Almost no traffic, lots of restaurants and bars are closed but there's stlll plenty to do. Many are opening on Oct 1 so we will be busy next week. We have been the only ones staying at BSV except for one couple that was here for about a week.

Laraine is keeping a good diary, so we should have a decent trip report coming.

Cheers,
Jim & Laraine
