Just got back from a great week. I'll post the highlights concentrating on different information. We stayed in a Le Belvedere, an amazing villa on Baie Rouge, with two other couples. Gorgeous place. The beach had some rocks, but there were places to get into the water on the first two days. However, the winds picked up and the sand suddenly disappeared, leaving only rocks. Still a beautiful beach, great scenery. One night to celebrate a special anniversary of one our friends, we hired Fabulous Feasts to come in with a chef and cook us a special meal. Lauren, the chef, was wonderful. He created a very memorable evening for us. Highly recommend. Spend some time at Sunset Beach Bar, our favorite hangout. The beach had tons of sand and rather large waves. I braved them and did get to enjoy the water, along with surviving a few wave wipeouts. The weather was good. Had rain almost every night, but only had one day with rain problems. The mosquitos, my nemisis, were not too bad this year. Orient Beach had more sand than last November, definitely improved.
