Was there ever really? You would think they can designate someone. Except for a period after the pandemic, we have always had international flights into Anegada. The current government is cratering on all sides.

The US does not require fire trucks for on demand charter with less than 31 seats. That's my point. A 31-seat fixed-wing aircraft will never land at the Anegada airport.

Do they actually man the fire appliance? If not then it actually has no bearing on safety. The airport is manned with a fire crew anytime that the airport is open. Sleepiest job in the BVI.
