If you have never been there for the Sunday "Jazz" you should! It's not really pure jazz but rather it's local musicians getting together and jamming together. They switch instruments and even the waiter sang a song. Before the music started I heard someone say hi to Wendy and I suspected it was Wendy K so I introduced myself and she came over and said hi to my wife, which was very nice to meet her. During the first set a lady from France who did not speak English sitting at the table next to us came over to me and gestured to me that she wanted to dance. So what was I to do but dance. Embarrassed I complied and finished the song and sat down. But that wasn't enough and she came back for another. I had no intention of dancing today but when in SXM, what the h*ll. After the set was over we started talking with Alfredo the guitarist/drummer and he said sit down let's have a cocktail and talk. Well 2 hours later we made our way through the golf course in the dark, not what we planned. He is playing at the Huppel Pub tomorrow with his band and on our final night his band is playing at the Dinghy's Beach Bar which is just down the road from La Terrasse. Oh Boy. Another great day on island.
