Virtually no wind. The boats are facing into the current. I would have been quite happy to share some wind from my 6 to 14 Dec trip!

This situation would have confused my Charter guest who asked me" Is there a law that all the boats have to face the same way?"

After I took those photos, the boats shifted to face due west (my guess). This morning the planes were landing and taking off in both directions.

Mono’s tend to align with the current more than cats which get effected by the wind sooner. It’s a bigger issue at Cooper Island.
