Well, I'm back in chilly, rainy Manhattan-uneventful trip back yesterday-got home @9pm. I'll post a trip report in the next week or so once I make sense of all my scribblings. So for now, I'll just post a few quick notes:
The weather last week was great--only one day was mostly rainy-even then, we managed to get some sun. LOTS of cruise ships, but we avoided most of the crowds. Other than the cruise-shippers, there didn't seem to be that many visitors-no dinner reservations needed and the hotels seemed to be only @ 1/2 full.
Also, the taxi rates seemed to be cheaper-I asked a couple of the drivers about it and got vague answers, but I know we weren't paying as much as in past years.
