You'll get plenty of recommendations for car rentals as many here all have their favorite go to company on island. Mine is http://www.sxmrentacar.com/ Been using Hertz SXM for over 20+ years wthout a glitch. Just booked them again for our May trip and July trip. Unlike many others the quote includes free Liability insurance and no add on fees. As an example my Corolla will run me $174.00 a week.

I’m sure you will get many car rental recommendations. We’ve used Lesley Bruce of Kenny’s Car Rentals for years and find him to be honest, dependable and very easy to do business with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. At the same time, there are many other agencies that are very good so best suggestion is send emails requesting specific all in quotes for your time span. Some agencies offer various pricing tiers depending on type of car and type of service so be specific in your wants be it airport pick-up or hotel delivery, older and more lovingly used car or brand new bright and shiny model. It all can make a difference in prices.

I can’t speak to la play for lodging since I have not stayed there. For car rental,we also use Kenny’s car rental. It may not be the cheapest, but the service is first rate. If you do stay at la playa,,or anywhere Orient village, you have many different food choices within a few minutes walk. Good luck.

Yes Barry but once the Sun is shining , its help me mind wise instead like having to being in England lol. And the good part of our trips is that , our children knew how they were brought up eating out at most of the top of line restaurants on Sint Maarten , hence they booked accordingly , one love Also God is true and love , , I will be 66 June 9th and our Son Elijah the same day 24 , but even though getting a small pension on St.Maarten , I can stop working but of course like before , but got to find a way to enjoy our Senior years in life . Planning on doing first big trip to England and then use trains to see Europe
