Any recent experiences on the ferry from St. Thomas to Tortola?

I am wondering if we need to make a reservation. Or just wing it. Arrival next Wednesday and leave on a Saturday. Are the Ferries filling up?

You should be fine. I have not observed a full ferry since the covid rules were dropped.

You might want to reserve your Saturday return ferry. We did experience 2 sold out ferry times when going back to the USVI from Road Town on a Saturday in April.

We just came back from Tortola on Saturday. We had reserved seats, but I heard it was sold out.
