Just got back from St. Martin (the French part) and want to share my recommendation – I was using an eSIM for the first time for mobile data, and it was a discovery. For anyone that was living under a rock like me, eSIMs are pretty much the same as a SIM card, you just don’t need to switch anything or buy it physically. By having an app you can switch to a local provider and have cheaper data. I was using the one called Saily for my whole trip, and it worked really well.

It doesn’t look like they have a plan for the Dutch side.
Did you try it on the Dutch side?
I have tried the e-Sims before specifically Airalo.
It worked OK in some areas but dropped off in others.
