We've enjoyed reading all the q & a on the Forum. We arrive on Tuesday for a week. The 10 day forecast is for winds to be NE, ENE, or E for the duration. Will this also predict the beaches with the calmest water and least chance of seaweed will be on the west side of the island?

You are going to be in luck, the weather will be returning to normal tradewinds next week. The beaches on the leeward (west) side will be spared major sargassum while the windward ones will get a serving or two.

The base waves will be 3 feet and less while the primary swell is going to be light next week. All the beaches will be calm and pretty. One easy to use forecast site is https://www.windguru.cz/209020

Thanks Zanshin for the details. BTW, the Windguru site was very informative, I appreciate you providing the link.
