We have always eaten at Wonky Dog but curious what other restaurants come recommended.

My comments are not anti Wonky Dog. Peter and Dez do a great job. Anegada Reef Hotel has very good lobster. As does Lobster Trap. My favorite lunch spot is Tipsy's and my most favorite dinner spot is Sid's. The lobster tacos are excellent. Potter's ain't bad either.

Go Irish!!

Sid's and Wonky Dog are our favorite restaurants. Last week we made dinner reservations at Sid's and found out we would be joining their 5th anniversary celebration. It was great to see so many local families there. Sid introduced us to his fiancé Isabelle who he credited for his new gift shop. The food was wonderful as always.

Does Sid’s have a dinghy dock?

No dock at Sid's and beach can be pretty steep.

Flatter beach areas to NW.

Do a search on anchoring at Pomato point for some more info.

Lobster Trap has in my opinion the best lobster dinner and best atmosphere and service. It's always just felt like a very special place to us and they have really improved it over the years. The lobster is just incredible for the freshness of the lobster and the way they cook and prepare it.

Anegada Reef Hotel is also excellent for lobster dinner and has incredible conch fritters, everything is fantastic there. ARH is our second choice.

We love Potters if you want a more party atmosphere and the food is good, but not in the same class as the others. We've also eaten at Anegada Beach Club, also a very nice spot.

We had lunch appetizers at Flash of Beauty this last trip, it's definitely worth a stop. Great drinks, service, good food, and a wonderful beach and good snorkeling there. Great service as well. I think its our new favorite stop on the east side of the island.

Our opinion, setting aside interpersonal stuff, is that we still prefer Cow Wreck to Tipsy's. Cow Wreck is quieter, more serene, relaxing and personal. Tipsy's seemed bigger and louder to us, more of a party atmosphere with loud music and big gift shop. To each their own and hope everyone on Anegada succeeds, glad there are options for everyone and hopefully this input helps you determine what is best for you. We didn't eat at Tipsy's so can't comment on that. The food at Cow Wreck was good, but the conch fritters were, while still good, disappointing in comparison to our past experiences there. They seemed more doughy and just not as incredible as we have had there in the past.

I'm glad you mentioned Flash of Beauty. Monica is awesome. Her roti is incredible. Large enough to feed two. Please bring cash as she doe not take credit cards.

Go Irish!!

I'm not sure why we hadn't been to Flash of Beauty before, maybe the location has always been kind of just off the beaten path for us, or we were just needing to get back to the boat by the time we got that far (we usually have gone clockwise, but went the other way this time), but it might have been my favorite stop this trip. Wonderful place and the family was so welcoming.

Flash of Beauty is horrible. Never enough patrons for a good party. No loud music to dance to. The food is cooked to order, so you have to wait for it. (You can order in advance for a set time, but then you have to keep track of time!). The honor system for drinks is practically an invitation to sin. The reefs at water's edge leave no room for the wading drinkers. The deep canyons have lots of large scary fish. The long walks on the beach are too lonely. I could go on...

That is the exact uniqueness of Anegada. Flash of Beauty is a great quiet snorkeling spot. Loblolly is good for snorkeling with a little more party atmosphere. ABC is a quiet beautiful spot. Tipsy's is a 100% party spot. CWB is just absolutely beautiful. Sid's is amazing in its own. Then you have the fun places around the anchorage. Anegada has something for everyone's tastes. Even the food is different at most locations. I think it is obvious that Anegada is our home away from home.

Go Irish!!

We have enjoyed them all! IMHO, Lobster Trap's Lobster Thermador is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten.

Sid's will provide complimentary transportation from/to the anchorage. Great Food and Great Service!
