Looking forward to a return to Tortola for Spring Break. Is this a good place to look for the cruise ship schedule? I want to avoid the crowds.

This one much more accurate, but you can't search too far ahead. http://bviports.org/?cruiseship

They were sadly busy expanding the dock for the new mega cruise ships in October.

While the new cruise pier is under construction it can get crowded in the harbor!
Aida Bella trying to find a parking spot in Road Town

On a side note, with the cruise pier out of commission and all the ships having to anchor and use tenders to take passengers ashore I have noticed on days like this, in addition to the ship's tenders, that essentially ALL the ferry boats that are normally used for the Tortola-St. Thomas route are being used to ferry ship passengers ashore. This might be an additional reason why the ferry service continues to be unreliable.

Best way to avoid the crowds is to stay in Apple Bay with easy access to Smuggler's etc....and then head over to CGB for happy hour after they have left..

Chris, pack some black knee high socks along with your sandals and we'll mingle with them on the beach at CGB <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

If we're lucky the dolphins will swim into the bay and we can gently comment "Sharks are feeding early today".
