Tropicana in Marigot is first with their specials.

French onion soup and gazpacho, both very good.

Chicken cordon bleu and the moules frites (Canadian mussels), best fries of the trip.

The way they do leftovers was neat, and they are closing soon for 3 months vacation.

Aloha beach starting with hummus 3 ways and interesting homemade pita chips.

Sea bass with braised leeks and mashed potatoes, the leeks are incredible.

Soup was a large gazpacho with frozen basil sorbet in middle and Parma ham, very different and nice in the heat.

thanks for the pictures. I missed going to Tropicana the past couple of trips. Is the Grand Marnier souffle still available at dinner time? I really loved being able to do a long lunch there, topped off with that souffle..

Not sure, so full that she agreed not to show us the dessert menu!

Apparently it is no longer available at lunch at all, but wondered about dinner. At this point, it will be next year before we get there anyway.

I guess you are winding up your trip. Thanks for sharing it with us. Safe travels home!
