Yes you can. You can select the Moorings as a different drop off location during booking.

Can someone tell me what the current taxi fare would be for four people from EIS to Moorings?

Just wondering if this one-way Hertz rental would be more economical. Certainly would be more pleasurable...especially if you are crammed into a taxi with several other folks.

It’s typically $15 per person plus tip. It might be a little more if you want a private taxi. However, in June we had a private taxi and this was the rate.

The rental car will also pay for itself if you need to go get groceries / head out for meals, go downtown to Pusser's/shop, etc.

We arrive midday (Lord willing) and usually head over to Cane Garden Bay, etc for the afternoon prior to our sleep aboard at the Moorings.

It's hard to accurate state the excitement of remembering to drive on the wrong side of the road, up steep hills, through a round-about, etc - just ask my "never-silent" co-pilot, my wife.


PS - if any of your party is arriving on a later flight, they always ask "Can you come back to the airport and pick me up""

There are plans afoot to raise the taxi tariffs significantly. The proposed rate sheet has been circulated. If approved, it would be cheaper to rent a car to go nearly anywhere.
