According to Jason Tamburro the former owner of Roxxy beach. The property was sold out from under his feet for a new hotel!! I have to say, we loved there!! Cocktails were great, the sushi was the best on the dutch side, the atmosphere was very chic!! I hope he rebuilds !!
My understanding from staff that worked there is that the land was leased for 5 years, so maybe the land owner got a great offer and sold it. Beach Bar is a difficult business on the Island with lots of competition. They sold off almost everything so I doubt they will reopen.
