Yesterday was nice. Last night the system came through: unbelievable wind, rolling thunder and lots of lightning. Also rain, which continues at a drizzle - perfect for the garden. Our cistern is only half full, so a week of rain will be perfect.

Windguru and Weather.com are both showing a substantial (~50%) chance of rain daily for the next two weeks. We leave tomorrow, so I would be more than happy if it rained all day, every day! Planted new fruit trees and vegetable seeds yesterday, so wouldn't need to water.

We're on a mooring at Marina Cay now. Slight drizzle all day. First night out. Hoping the weather improves.

We just got home from dinner at Marina Cay - a Whaler with 2 out of 3 running lights working.

Look up the hill - house with lights furthest to your right.

We got here Wednesday. Socked in. In a villa on Soldier Hill. Any beaches that will be somewhat calm? I know the surfers are loving these swells. We lost power at 1 am. Thank goodness for this breeze.

We got our power back an hour ago. It was a crazy storm, and most everything in our house is wet. At least our cistern is in good shape!
