Day 3 - Sunday

Took some jewelery that needed repairs to Kay's in Phillipsburg. Had a nice chat with the owner and staff. We have been customers for over 20 years. Needed a clasp on a bracelet repaired and had a stud earring that the ball had broken off from the post.

Back to RP & the pool.

Dinner at Roma. My wife had the fixed price meal of app, entree, and dessert. All were excellent. I had the papardelle bolognais (sp?). HUGE portion also excellent. Gambled a bit at Casino Royale and lost $5.00. Oh well. We usually stay @ La Plage so have always walked to both places. Used the parking garage that you enter across the street from the pharmacy. Worked well. $3.00 for our evening parking. The 2 attendants were helpful in finding us a spot and facilitated our exit.

Day 4 - Monday

Back to Kay's to pick up repairs. Bracelet was repairable and looks like new. No Charge. The earring was not repairable and they are going to replace it. Also no charge. Both items were purchased there several years ago. Bought my wife a beautiful white gold bracelet for her birthday next week.

Dinner at Sal e Pepe. I haa steak that was prepared beautifully and my wife had her favorite meal. Gnocci in gorgonzola sauce. Food was excellent. Their service is still somewhat erratic but the quality of the food makes it a place I still want to patronize.
