Want to plan a trip to Anegada for 4 nights in June and think will need to get some groceries. We will take the 3:30 ferry from Road Town and was wondering should we just do our shopping in Road Town and carry groceries over on ferry or does the Lil Bits Cash and Carry near the Anegada ferry dock have at least stuff for breakfasts, snacks fruits vegs and beer. Doesn't the ferry charge for extra boxes (case of beer) to bring over? Any advise is appreciated. Thanks.

If practical, you should shop on Tortola. Lil Bits has a very limited selection and prices are about double compared to Tortola. For instance, a 1 pound box of pancake mix is $3.49 at Riteway on Tortola, and the same box is $10.00 at Lil Bits.

The ferry does charge for cargo. $8/box if Road Town Fast Ferry is running, $10/box if Smith's ferry is running. RTFF and Smith's alternate every 2 weeks.
