I thought I’d post a few pictures of our VRBO condo rental Simpson Bay Yacht Club.

The condo has been recently renovated and is spacious and nicely decorated. The outdoor deck is lovely, with a view of the outdoor lap pool and the causeway bridge in the distance. The location is excellent and we walked to Happy Hours and restaurants almost every evening (a huge plus for us).

We did have issues with Wi-Fi, and the TV not working. After much back and forth with the owner (who was in Italy) and the rental manager, the Wi-fi and tv issues got resolved within a few days. The manager was very apologetic and brought us a bottle of wine for the hassle.
(I didn’t even contact them about the dryer that didn’t work.)

Would we stay in this rental unit again? Probably!

I would have a big problem with the TV and wifi not working. It looks nice though.

Marc had a big problem with it too. Me, not so much. Last month I was on a 12 night cruise, and didn't miss wi-fi or TV one bit. And we're both retired and not working, so no big deal.

The VRBO listing stated Netflix and Prime were included. In the end, we only ended up with Netflix, and not Prime. Of course, Marc wanted to watch a movie on Prime. Oh well, he survived!

Looks like a nice unit in a great location. I would have a problem with no TV. I have to have my daily FOXnews fix.😆

We own the unit next door and out daughter rented this unit when she came to stay in March. A great place to stay on Vacation.

A quick question, when you were there did you walk to the end of the hallway, away from the elevator and look out over the complex?

I could care less about news while on vacation. I do need to connect to the internet and since we don't go out later at night any more, we do watch TV in the evenings after dinner.

Hi Simon.
Yes, we did go to the end of the hallway and looked at the view. I’m thinking you caught me (or the both of us) on camera?

Question: do the owls on your patio keep the birds away?
We had a good amount of bird poop on ours.

Please give my regards to Heather!
