It has been a few years (24 to be exact) since we visited. Wondering if there is a location to tie the dingy that makes the swim in the shortest . How short?

There's a rope delineating the swiming area that you can die the dingy to. You can swim the way in and there's also a rope with floats that run from the boundary rope into the shore you can pull yourself along with if you're not that great a swimmer.

My experience is trying to go along the boundary to shore rope results in skin irritation (some sort of sea lice?). Not bad but not fun.

As you probably know, any swim that looks somewhat short from the cockpit becomes somewhat long from in the water 😄

I agree Latajust. I don’t want our crew to over estimate their swim strength. I am trying to avoid a trip from Leverick by taxi. I also would like to make it to Coco Maya from VGYH. ??

It's a walk, not short, on the paved road, a little humid (ladies), unsettling traffic wizzing by. I'd suggest taking one of the taxis that are right there in the parking lot- hey, these guys have to make a living too!

We walked there and chose to take a taxi back. Their is not much room for pedestrians.

It was slimy when I was there last February, but it wasn't uncomfortable.
