Just had dinner at the beautiful new Dasha Resto and Bar in Cupecoy by the casino.

Best rack of lamb of all time....served with sides of mash and asparagus. Every bite was succulent and tasty, made with a peppercorn sauce.

I highly recommend this restaurant....clean, new and delicious food!

We ate there in March and really enjoyed it. Food and Service were right on.

Only negative for me is there are NO RESTROOMS in the restaurant which is totally ridiculous for a brand new building. You have to walk across the patio over to the Casino, and then the restrooms are in the back of the Casino. For people of age, or a bit mobility challenged it is horrible!! As good as it was, both service and food, I won't go back because of that situation. And....there are a few stairs needed to get up to the restaurant, and also into the casino. Oh to be young again.

Understand your response, however , that’s the situation created by the Owner of the whole property which is the Casino meaning that the Casino has to make money from the people using its premises.

Ed--that's interesting. I know that building codes seem to be a very sliding scale on SXM, but one would think a restroom would be required. For a high end restaurant, seems silly not to have one.

edit--Leslie--so you're saying the casino owner REQUIRED them not to have a restroom in the restaurant? Alrighty then. I have heard that the casino there is still smoky and they didn't change that weird mural at the top, so I probably wouldn't patronize them anyway. But if that is true, then I for sure will never darken their doors!!

Jim--Always glad to hear about great rack of lamb, one of my all time favorites. The restroom situation is a bummer though.

Carol , I thought that you would have understood what I said . Francesco ownes the whole property and provides spaces for people to rent and open their restaurants and as I can recall way back when Temptation was opened only Dino had its own toilet.

Leslie--OK. I was pretty sure that Dino had his own restroom.

So the wait staff and employees have to leave the establishment and trek to the back of the Casino to wash up and keep sanitary. Red flag for me.

I would have to assume there is running water in the restaurant, just not a bathroom.

The space really wasn’t a true renovation. I thought there used to be wash rooms right inside the casino, but they are gone now. Yes. It boggles my mind that there is no restroom. I joked that it would quicker for me to walk home and use it than go to to the back of the casino. It’s a great restaurant though!

I truly was shocked for a brand new building being totally rehabbed in 2024 that more ''proper restrooms'' would have been required. Even now here in the states every restaurant has to have at least a couple of bathrooms, and also ''handicapped access''. The things we take for granted. LOL But as much as we enjoyed the restaurant, after the way i had so much trouble getting in and out, and then the long walk is a killer for me for now on. I hope they can improve this situation.
