this afternoon I received two meal vouchers rom American Airlines problem is they were for two people other than me.. the voucher included first middle and last name of each person FULL credit card numbers for each person expiration date cvc and even billing zip code terrible redirect situation in CLT and RDU but it was simple human error that someone did not clear my acct before redirecting someone elses bags and attaching their email to my acct. I calle d AA and they removed the other folks email from my acct but holy smokes What if I was a bad guy? seems double e maill addresses an d different names shoild have been flagged somehow?? just watch everthing I guess. Why would credit card info be included on a meal voucher?

I would notify my cc company to watch for possible fraud. I too cannot see why a credit card number would appear on a voucher.
I don;t trust AA since the fraud in Aruba. People who used cc to book flights on AA returned home to find a mess of charges made in Aruba. If those people had notified their card company they would be using it in Aruba those charges would have passed muster. Result was found to be a booking agent for AA sold card numbers to people in Aruba and other places where flights were booked to. At that same time a certain restaurant copied card numbers for fraud use. That restaurant is no longer in business.
I do realize it could have been any airline.
I ran into trouble after booking a flight and obtaining Allianze travel insurance. That was found to be an agent at that company.

Saw this answer from a response to your same post on TripAdvisor. Makes sense now. "they're single-use credit card numbers (like a Visa gift card), not the people's actual credit card info. Still bad they sent them to the wrong person, but it's a grand total of $12 at risk."
