Hi We will be arriving next Sunday and staying in a villa in Orient Village. Back for a short 6 day trip since last year.
1st question - When I filled out the entry form and received confirmation. Then if you want to view your registration form you click on view registration and it takes you to the page where you enter you Document number, DOB, registration number and travel date. I had to go in and change my arrival date because the date had 'jumped' to the day before we actually arrive. I updated my registration form but it does not update the page where you enter your document number, dob, etc to view the registration form. In order for me to view my registration form I have to put the arrival date of the day before I actually arrive in order to see my registration form. I have tried many times contacting someone to get this changed but I can not get through to anyone. No one answers the phone at the airport which is the phone number I was given to call. I was told through email that this would not be a big issue? Do they look at this and will there be a problem for me when I get to the airport on arrival? How do they access your registration form? My form is correct but the initial page to get to the form has the wrong arrival date.
2nd question - How is the sargassum on Orient beach by Club O? Are they keeping up with cleaning the beach? I know it changes by the day but overall I am curious as to how much they are managing with this.
Thanks so much for any responses...can't wait to get back to our favorite place!

Can't answer the sargassum question, but regarding the entry form.....worst case scenario is you have to complete the entry form at the kiosks inside the airport (which many people do). So I wouldn't worry about it.

obgirl--the arrival form is f*ed up. Whatever date you put in, it always defaults to a different date. They have real geniuses handling this on behalf of SXM government, as it's been f*'ed up from the beginning and they still can't seem to fix it. You need to look at what date it shows and correct it while you are online, when it is wrong. I don't think there is any way you can correct it after the fact, unless you just go in and do another form from the beginning. As Lee says, worst case scenario is that you have to do it upon arrival at the kiosk.
Don't know about the sargassum either. Seems to be a crap shoot. Enjoy your trip!

I was able to fix the dates by going back to the calendar and putting in correct date before I hit Submit. Date selection is messed up on all the entry fields so dong an edit was only way for me to correct it.

Thanks for all of your feedback...Actually my registration form is correct with the dates...it is the front page of the website where you go to retrieve and review your registration that I have to put the incorrect date to retrieve my registration form. I guess at this point I am not going to worry about it...anyone else notice that if you go to print out the registration form itself that it does not print the arrival and departure dates? It totally skips that area....I have tried multiple times to print from different printers, computers and settings....the dates on the registration form just does not print It looks like we will have about 2-3 hours after we get out of the airport before we can get into our villa...any suggestions? We will have a couple of carry-ons and computer in our car so I know we can't really leave the car for too long if anytime at all.

I find Rancho Del Sol parking secure enough, a nice place to sit and enjoy the view for a couple of hours with a nice drink or snack. Also the peacocks sometimes will put on a show for the guests.

Erb Thanks for the suggestion. We do love Ranch Del Sol! When we were there last year we had quite the show between the peacocks.and.the iguanas! Sounds like a nice start to the vacation!

Was on Orient a few weeks back. As usual, the further south you go towards Club O section, the less there is. It was never a problem for me, and many days it was nonexistent down there, some days a small line at the water line.
As you go North, once you pass Orange Fever it can slowly start to build, and is bad north of Cocoa Beach.

Make sure you have eyes on your car 100% of the time.
