I am very happy the family decided to return to the BVI waters! But our timing at the end of season and with a 7 year absence has me doing a lot of research!!. We have chartered in July before and have worked around some closures, those didn't deter us from having an amazing time! I have found the following closings on websites...

- Cooper Island - last day of service is Sunday, August 4.
- BEYC - closes August 1.
- Pirates (Bight) says open through July, sent email to find accurate date.
- Leverick - Upstairs dining is closed
- Foxy's Taboo - closes Aug 1.
- Coco Maya - closed on Sun/Mon

Do you know of any establishments closing late July early August not listed? Any and all locations, we plan to spend to spend time around Jost and CGB near the end of the trip in August.

Can you recommend any new stops especially since 2017? Restaurants? new grocery? anything of interest that a charter might find helpful?

Depending on weather, and racing the closures, we adjusted our preliminary itinerary to include The Bight, Cooper and Bitter End by the end of July.

Thank you for your help!

Thanks for doing the research on this! We were there in August last year and Foxy's Taboo, Pirates and I think Cooper as well were all open still. Seems a few places are closing even earlier now?

Just got an email from TMM with some instructions/info...it mentions Gene's and free shuttle as a choice for our sleep aboard dinner! Thanks, we might get over there!

BEERMAN....definitely call ahead to verify Gene's is open. We went there 6/28/25 (Saturday night) to find that they were closed. We were disappointed, as we were looking forward to it. We continued on to Omar's in Nanny Cay, so we wound up with a great meal. Not sure why Gene's was closed, but call to verify ahead of time.

Matt I'm still waiting on a reply email from Pirates, but their website states "Oct 2024 thru to July 2025" even that confuses me with "thru to". I need to put together a list of restaurants/numbers on each island and simply call the day before we think we'll be there. We won't starve, we'll just change gears!

Gene told me yesterday that she was staying open..she did have a family emergency that caused her to shut briefly but she said she will not close and would love to get that word out..

Just told the crew if we get most provisioning done first afternoon we will head there! Thanks for recommending! Also my daughter’s dog name is Mulligan, she saw a pub named that in Nanny Cay, is it a good pub? At least try to get her a Captain Mulligan shirt 😎

Mulligan's is a fun hangout..good place for TV sports and a kids playground. Its just down the road from Gene's, just inside Nanny Cay.Food is OK but not close to Gene's IMHO.
