I understand that day to day sargassum forecasting is impossible. Is there any news on long term forecasts? Would hurricane season move the sargassum away from St. Martin?

I've posted these sargassum forecast sites before, both links seem to still work: https://optics.marine.usf.edu/projects/SaWS.htmlhttps://meteofrance.gp/fr/sargasses/iles-du-nordLooks like the forecast is for lots of it to wash up onto the coastline of SXM, at least over the next few weeks... Re hurricane season, it appears it might move the mats around but I doubt it is possible to predict where with any confidence. Dave.

When are you visiting? I guess if a hurricane comes you might have less seaweed but more hurricane issues?
