My wife and I went out for breakfast and on the way back, we thought we would see how Mullet beach looked. As we approached the parking, 3 young guys walked from a car on the right of the driveway and basically started blocking our path. We didn’t like that at all. Especially 3! They basically were going to encircle my car. I got over almost to the edge and got past them. Then a 4th got totally in my path and forced me to go off the road, which was a pretty good drop off and I did and hit pretty hard. We got up to the parking and decided to turn around and leave, because of them. The last one started walking toward my car and we got around him and got out of there. Very very uncomfortable and I guess now, as I am back in my condo and thinking about this, were they trying to charge me? I don’t ever recall paying there before.

Anything is a possibility. Usually there a a few guys "working" incoming cars to steer the people to certain chairs on the beach. Chester was not there in Feb/Mar so I also encountered a couple of guys I had not seen before. I doubt they were trying to charge you, either up to no good or trying to get your business. There has never been a charge for parking at Mullet Bay.

A year ago a couple of guys tried to direct me where to park and I ignored them and parked where I wanted. Came back and found one of my tires was flat. Not accusing them of wrong doing but pretty suspicious or coincidental. Never been charged for parking there.

It just seemed a little suspicious, that 3 of them walking out with 5-6 feet between them didn’t seem normal. This was to force me to stop. What I see here, I am lucky to get 1 person to help me.
