Starting to plan a trip to Grenada for our 40th anniversary in May. Spent a lot of time sailing around the BVI’s but always wanted to check out the windward islands. Looking for advice as to the best beach areas/resorts to stay at. Any insight, suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

It's been ages since I've been to Grenada, but I keep trying to figure out a comeback. If I were to come back, I would look at the beaches on the southwest side of the island (Grand Anse, Morne Rouge (BBC Beach), L'anse Aux Epines). If my budget allowed, I would stay at La Luna -- it just looks dreamy. I've stayed at True Blue, which was less luxurious, but had everything you might need on site: restaurant, bar, pool, etc.

I've stayed at La Sagesse a couple of times because it is perfect for my requirements. Clean rooms, no A/C, bug-tight screens, right on a private large and protected beach with a good restaurant. No TVs in the rooms, but fast Wi-Fi. The view below was from my balcony, the beach starts right at the trees.

We ended up booking at the Royalton Grenada on Magazine Beach. All inclusive, right on the beach, and seemed to have very good reviews. It will feel different not being on a boat though.
Should be fun.

Therrs a newish Sandals? At he Georgetown end of Grand Anse, before the cemetery....ohhhh the infinity pool looks top notch from the main road...it opens all the way, splitting the two sides of the hotel. One day i will book it.

I stayed at BBC beach. The Kalinago??? Resort was nasic at the time, food was great, and the small beach quiet.

Its been a while but grand anse beach is my recommendation.
