Next Feb, mid week, we're arriving on the famed Delta: Atl to STT ~ 3:05 pm flight. In the past, I've always hurried to the ferry for the 4:00 pm Charlotte Amalie to Road Town venture. Trying to verify a "later (5:00 or 5:30) midweek ferry" back up plan. But some of the internet listings are from 2025. There will only be 2-3 of us / no private ferry $$ options. Any thoughts? thx, rrs

The ferries still operate in Covid mode: no competition, alternating runs. They set the schedule about a month out. This time of year is slow season, so the current schedule may have fewer runs; February is high season so there will be a full schedule. I believe there is always a 5 or 5:30 run from Charlotte Amalie, as well as from Red Hook. Aquatic Rentals is shutting down permanently, so their schedule won't exist.

Schedules change frequently and it's the low season rhythm right now. But yes, there does seem to be a 5 or 530 daily from one of the operators, even in low season. Aquatic Rentals will be removed on August 31st per their announcement.

Sad to see Aquatic Rentals go..great boats and service from West End but very light traffic on board....fast C and I clearance in St John.
