Any more recent returns from the Horizon cruise leaving out of SXM? We go 3/2 and have several questions.
How were the excursions? Worth getting off the ship? Any ports like SXM where u can get off, walk the port/boardwalk for shops restaurants?
Were there sit down dinners or just buffets?
Thanks

Hopefully someone else will report back soon. And for anyone still looking, I am seeing an ad in the Daily Herald for space this year still on several weeks, if someone is still wanting to go.

In general, it doesn't matter what cruise line it is--shore excursions in the Caribbean are a waste of money. You can do the same thing, better and cheaper
on your own. Read up on the ports online and have a plan of things that you want to do in each port. If the cruise line doesn't provide you with shore ex info ahead of time, go to Royal Caribbean or Princess or whatever, and look and see what their shore excursions are for that port. That will tell you what there is to do in that port.
