We are booked at Divi Little Bay in April. We will be in a 1BR with an adjoining studio to make it a 2BR. Has anyone stayed in this type of setup at Divi before? Is it nice and is it conducive to 4-6 people staying there comfortably? (how uncomfortable are the pull out couches???)

You should be fine for 4 to have privacy, 6 you would need the pullout. They are nice units and many have a washer/dryer.

We have stayed in several of the different 1 bedroom plus studio configurations at Divi. They are large and offer nice privacy, including 3 separate bathrooms. The downside if you have 6 people is that the pull out sofas are really uncomfortable, according to my daughters who have been stuck using them. They usually end up putting the mattress on the floor, or even taking the sofa cushions and making them into a mattress.
