Last year in late Feb / early Mar I was delighted to be waylaid in Marigot by a huge mid day parade with massive floats, music and dancers.
Does anyone have info on this event this year?

There is always a parade in Marigot for Mardi Gras which is on Feb.17 this year. There will be parades on a few of the days before, including a children's parade, which is also lots of fun to watch. I will post more accurate details as soon as I see it in the paper.
