We haven't been to the island since 2013. Are there any new restaurants (either side) that are "must go to" places? We are only going to have 2 nights open for new places. Suggestions please. Also, is Tutta Pasta still open?

Please don't take this as judgemental but you and I live in the italian restaurant capital of the world outside of italy. I don't want anything to do with pasta or for that matter italian when there are sooo many other great choices we don't get as much of here.

Sorry, both of those may be great restaurants, but neither is new since 2013.

Tutta Pasta is still open - closed on Saturdays.

I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

And sometimes, you just want Italian.

Tutta Pasta is still open and still very very good.

In the Simpson Bay area, I would highly recommend Crave, a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurant. For my money, they serve the most interesting food on the island right now.
If you're in the mood for Thai, Panlaan is a great choice (apparently so is Avantika, but I haven't personally eaten there). For Northern Italian, Luna Rossa is very good; for Southern Italian/Sicilian, give Cugini a try. Finally, for high end French, again even though I haven't eaten there yet, I have heard from folks whose opinions I respect in these matters that So French is wonderful. I know time flies by, but from my perspective, all these places are relatively new.

If life dealt you a full house, don't complain you didn't get a royal flush.
