We made our first trip last year with the Moorings (powercat) and thought it was a "trip of a lifetime". We loved it so much we are making our second trek again this June. We missed the full moon last year and would like to attend this year. The ladies on board want to spend the first night at JVD so my question is which full moon party should we try to attend? I know Bomba's is closer but don't know where to moor for the night and how actually to get to Bomba's once we have moored. Second option should we motor from JVD early am to Trellis bay to claim a mooring ball and if so what is there to do their during the day prior to full moon party.
After a full week last year in the BVI's we feel like we have barely scratched the surface.
Thanks for any input.

We attended foxy's taboo full moon party a couple weeks ago. That's on jvd. So it could work for you. Alternatively, stay at cane garden bay and taxi to bomba. Trellis bay works too.

We had dinner at Sydney's peace and love. We took the taxi over to taboo and had a nice time. It was their first. Big bonfire, good music and a little entertainment. I would go there again.

For Bomba's..cab from Soper's Hole or CGB works. As its June and probably no swell you could anchor right in Apple Bay if the charter co allows it..

If you want to make a day of it with no worries, reserve a slip at Scrub. No need to rush to get there. Stop at Monkey Point on the way. When you get to Scrub, enjoy the pool and the amenities. They run a free shuttle back and forth to Trellis so park your boat, enjoy a swim, and a cocktail. They have great showers by the way.
Aragorn puts on quite a show.

Not a bad idea. We stopped at Scrub island last year and had lunch then later enjoyed their pool. Didn't think about catching a ride from there over to the full moon party. Thanks.
