Haven't tried Le Planteur, but we like BZH and Daniels and our friends raved about Quai Ouest. Also Beau Beau's at OBBR has wonderful fried chicken if you want a change from "finer" foods...lol

We were at Oyster Bay in January and one of the best meals we had was at Canoa on the little dock just before the entrance to Oyster Bay. Apps, entree and dessert were very good!!!

Interesting no one has any info on this restaurant. Sandy and I were quit impressed with it when we went there several years ago. Will try to visit this trip and will report back if we make it. Hard to go in that direction though when a right turn gets you to GC.

Was on my list last week, but couldn't overrule the "group". They do have "fixed" price meals on their sign.

Next SXM visit -November 2023. Also January 2024.

To bad you didn't make it - really looking for a review.

I thought it was a lovely restaurant -- granted it was about five years ago. But the setting and ambience were so nice. It is very Creole- inspired in terms of menu. I think its definitely worth trying if you are in that area. (We were staying at the Westin Dawn Beach at the time).

Mike and sandy, I didn't post earlier since I didn't go last year and things can change but in prior years it was pretty good. I wouldn't say at same level as an ocean 82 but pretty good. Only reason we didn't go back last year is we grilled more than normal at the resort. We normally would make it once a trip though. Hope that helps
