Hi all,

If we were to make a passage to St. Croix from the BVI...

Based on a previous thread regarding C&I issues, it appears that one can technically depart the BVI territory 24 hours after checking out. This means we could ostensibly check out, overnight on Norman (Privateer Bay is great), and then make a beautiful straight run to St. Croix the following morning.

Would this be kosher? OR do we need to check into the USVI at the closest possible USVI port with a C&I office? Meaning we would need to go to St. Johns first, and depart from there?

Thanks!
