from memory, haulover bay is the other side of cistern rock, i don't think it's a problem, others will chime in shortly, i'm sure

If conditions were right I'd do it. That will be almost a mile, in the dark and you have to get around cistern point. Be sure to bring a flashlight so you can be seen! Also, make sure the company is ok with anchoring in Haulover - some may consider it a day anchorage only but I have read there is good holding.

Life involves risks, take some prudent ones (NOT with the BVI ferries)!

Very little space to anchor so your best bet is to go over to Trellis or Marina Cay. Generally availability at both, unless Full Moon.

Haulover bay can be tough to get a good set. There is lots of coral and it's really necessary to swim over the anchor to see where it's set. Best attempted with the sun high so you can see the bottom.

On a dark night it could be tough going to the cibc restaurant. If there is some moon it should be fine. There will be no lights on shore.

Get there by 2 and you shouldn't have a problem getting a mooring. If its full, we just head some where else.

Cistern point is good snorkeling, so plenty to do if you get there early.
