To the original poster--this is an awful story. However, please post a link to the story. You cannnot copy and paste in toto a copyrighted story. We visited Pierre back in 2013 and enjoyed spending time with him and all of his stories. He told us then about the multiple times he had been robbed at gunpoint in his house. I was very surprised to read that someone thinks this murder may be related to fact that property next to Pierre was bought by a large company---for what purpose wasn't stated. The implication may be that this company approached Pierre and he refused to sell.

The swizzle stick collection has to be the largest in the world. It should be in the book of world records. He was a fine gentleman and will be missed.

I had no intention of propagating hearsay, rumor or otherwise. Actually, when I read it the only questions I had were 1. who bought property, 2. what would it be used for. Again, sorry for the post.
