Have never been this time of year, but we are arriving next Wednesday. Yay!
Wondering if I need to make a reservation in advance of arrival for first Wednesday night dinner in Grand Case or can we stroll the strip to see what looks good? If reservation is recommended, do you need to reserve days in advance or same day okay? Are all evenings about the same or are some more crowded/popular than others?

Thanks!

'Cause I want to be there, I want to go back down and lie beside the sea there.
With a tin cup for a chalice, fill it up with good red wine...(JB)

While I can not speak for Grand Case specifically, I would suggest reservations if there are more than 4 in your party. We usually go with a group of 8-10 and it is advisable to make reservations.

I am currently in Grand Case, have been for last 4 nights - heading to OBBR for a week today. As mentioned by JD, if larger then a party of 4, I would suggest reservations or if you wanted a specific table request. For example, the only reservations we made this week for our group of 4 was for Ocean 82 at sunset. I wanted a specific table so I emailed a request 3 days in advance. Dinner and sunset was amazing! Other then that, we strolled the street and said " this looks good" and walked in. If staying in Grand Case, dinner selection/options are countless. They only other time I would worry about a reservation if I was coming to GC by cab and going to specific establishment, then I would make reservations the day before. Enjoy!

We try to make reservations whenever possible. Helps the restaurant plan better. Also is courteous.

We also always make reservations. Even if only a night in advance.

Definitely make a reservation. We're used to not having to make them for November unless we have a group (then we ALWAYS make them). We were turned away from our first choice restaurant last week. You may also need reservations for a restaurant in the Village. Particularly Le Piment, which I highly recommend.

If you're going on a TUESDAY, make sure you have a reservation this time of year due to Harmony Nights, or whatever they call it now. For other nights, it depends on, as others have said, whether there is more than two people in your group, AND how flexible you are about your choices. If you HAVE to eat at a particular place, or at a particular time, you should make a reservation this time of year, to avoid disappointment. But you certainly won't go hungry!

Another advantage of reservations - it will usually assure you of a good table.
