We have stayed at La Plage 3 times, so I'm sure there will be others with more experience who will chime in. However not aware there are any hotel rooms st La Plage. Most are studio's,1 bed and 2 beds. What might be offering to you is the lock out bedroom of a 2 bedroom. The 2 bed is an "L" shaped unit with 2 openings off the outdoor hallway. One door leads to the equivalent of a one bed, the other outer door leads to the 2nd bed. There is a connecting door to the 1 bed unbit, which could / would be locked. We rented such a 2 bed this winter, the lock out bedroom has a window which overlooked the road, the lock out bedroom itself was quite large, with 2 double beds and an ensuite. No outside sitting area and the window is of the road
I would clarify what is meant by a hotel room

There are rooms classified as hotel rooms (also called Studios) at Royal Islander La Plage. Click Here to see a map of the layout and you will see rooms 1202-1205. Those are the rooms called hotel/studio rooms. We have books those twice through RCI exchanges and by luck, they have assigned us 1 bedrooms since we were there for the week. There are also a pictures of the hotel/studio room at VRBO that someone is renting out.

Hi, too me a hotel room is a bed and a bathroom. The studio units definitely have a kitchenette – so I wouldn’t describe them as a hotel room. RI La Plage web site describes them as studio’s and lists the amenities which includes a kitchen – the web site does not call then hotel rooms. There was a previous thread that I think had the same topic, someone was offered a hotel room at La PLage and there was some discussion whether it was in fact going to be the 2nd bedrm of a 2 bed lockout or ?, hence my previous comment to double check to make sure exactly what you would be getting. Better to be informed. If its a studio unit, ground floor. Nice garden view and instant access to the grounds, pool etc. Ed is right, nice ts, well looked after J&B
