Ok.....Here we gooooo

Day 1-
We get to the airport to find that our tickets were not in their (US AIR) system. After explaing to the ticket agent that we had booked through Orbitz and they had changed our flights a couple of times, she looked elsewhere and found us. Off we go to our "Happy Place". No problems anywhere else.

We get to SXM on Sunday the the 7th, a little overcast and sprinkling. As we stepped off the plane the heat and humidity hit us like a ton of bricks....."YES", just what we want! We wait for the other couple ( sis-in-law and hubby) and head for the immigration line. Flew through that no problem. Got our luggage (pretty quick), and went searching for Lesley Bruce aka Kenny's Car Rental. He told us not to panic if we didn't see him at first (and we didn't - see him) but he showed up in about 5 minutes. My hubby and brother-in-law went and got a few Heineken for us while we waited. It was pretty funny because my in-laws both had brown paper bags wrapped around their bottles so they wouldn't get caught. Yes, we had a good giggle out of that one. Here came Lesley, and we were off to sign the papers and get the car. We get to the Pelican, check in (quickly) and take everything to the room. Changed into shorts and comfy shirts and off we go. We frist went to Mullet just to see the sight. MMMMMMMM what a feeling. We then went to Rancho's for dinner, we were starving. After dinner we hit Buccaneer. All was good. Had a few beers, ok ALOT of beers a few shots, and met some really cool people. After about 3-4 hours there, we went back to the room to get some sleep.

Day 2 Monday-
We get up, cloudy and rainy. BUMMER. That's ok, we could go driving around and get our grocery shopping done. We went to Orient, to see what was happening, nothing much. Had a few beers, and left. Didn't see anyone nekkid. ( I didn't care, my brother in law wanted a glimpse of someone strolling around without clothes ) We left there and headed over to the cost-u-less to pick up some beer, water, and a few other things. We planned to go to the grocery to get the rest but we never made it that day We took our things home, and hit Buccaneer again and order a couple of pizza's YUMMY! After eating and a few more beers, we changed and went to Mullet. We made dinner at the resort that night, Beef tips and noodles. Very good.

Day 3 Tuesday-
Woke up and low and behold---SUN!!!! YAY!!! Woke the others up, had our java and off to Mullet we go. Of course we loaded up on the SPF 50. Here's the good part, My brother in law was refusing to go swimming in the ocean (you know, all the big creatures and all). Well after about 10 minutes watching us all swim, and having a good time, I comes out and swims past my husband, saying this is great!!!! Again....another giggle. We took our snorkel gear, and I think my husband got to use his about 15 minutes. My brother in law became the Snorkel Hog. ( not a problem, we had another week) After the day at the beach, we went home to clean up and go to dinner. Peg Leg, here we come. Had a great dinner, don't remember what it was, but I know it was good, had a few more drinks and stopped at BBB again on the way back to the room. Sis in law misplaced her credit card, but she found it.....under the lamp (from the night before, she didn't remember putting it there. Heee Heee)

Day 4 - Wednesday
We went snorkeling to Prickley Pear on the Bluebeard 3. What a great time!!! My sis in law was afraid at first, then she got herself together and off she went. We didn't see her or my brother in law until the bell rang. We ate, swam somemore and we headed back. My brother in law fell asleep on the boat. ( You know those rum punches sneak up on ya) Got a pizza from the Pizza Galley, ( not as good as BBB) and went home to eat. Early to bed !!!!

Day 5 - Thursday
Went to Phillipsburg to look around and had lunch at Pirates Paradise. Good burgers. Had a few more beers, and went back home and swam in the pool. Cooked in that night. Spaghetti. Oh yea, the previous day my brother in law lost his prescription sun glasses so we had to go back to the Lady C to see if someone had turned them in. And they did, someone was panic strickened. All is good. Oh yea, went to Baie Lounge......YUCK. We didn't care for it. Long walk in the heat to go swimming. Wasn't worth it to us. (and beer)

Day 6 - Friday
Went back to Mullet and to Banana's for dinner, (it was ok, not the most friendly staff), and then to Pineapple Pete's to shoot some pool, and throw darts (and beer).

Day 7 - Saturday
Went to the Kissing Fish for breakfast...very very good.
Our 16 year old son was coming down so we headed to the Sunset Beach Bar to watch him land. That was a good time watching the planes land and take off. Cold beer too!!! Ate a few snacks, and seen a Delta flight land that was just crazy. Way low. It was awsome. Picked our son up (he came in on US Air)and headed back to the room, and grilled out tenderloins and had salad. Very good dinner. (and beer)

Day 8 - Sunday
Packed and moved to a new room, went to Mullet for a quick swim, went to Rancho's for lunch, and took the in-laws to the airport, it was their day to leave. We had such a great time with them. We went grocery shopping again, to the pool, then back to the room to rest.....long week.
