Miscellaneous
One Sunday afternoon we sat at Pedro’s and listened to the live music. It was quite entertaining and made for an enjoyable afternoon. We ended up buying a CD of His Majesty Baker Jr. & The Revolution Band Int. The CD is titled “I Love Meh Wife. www.cdbaby.com/all/kingbakerjr.
Encountered a sobriety checkpoint one evening at the entrance to Baie Orient. No problems though.
No power one day, and sporadic water a couple of other times. Learned to deal with it and cleaned up with bottled water.
Read two books by Randy Wayne White, and Gone Bamboo by Anthony Bourdain. If you are unfamiliar with it, it is a novel about a New York mob hitman who lives in SXM in semi-retirement. The last great hit went sour and the guy survived to turn government witness. The FBI placed him in protective custody until he could testify…in SXM. Pretty funny but the language is rough.

Summary
On balance it was once again a disgustingly perfect trip. A very heartfelt Thank-You to all who have posted here and in doing so have unwittingly contributed to our love and enjoyment of St. Martin. We certainly owe all of you a debt of gratitude.
