With Riteway now at Nanny Cay, it is worth pre-provisioning (delivery) or should we just shop when onsite? Bringing my 2 sons (18 & 21) and they certainly can "work off" their part of the trip!. On most all of our other trips down, we've partial provisioned, having what we need for the first half of the trip delivered to the boat, then we hand-pick our meats and fresh items. The second half of the trip we just grab what we need along the way.

Also: How well stocked is Caribbean Cellars vs Tico for libations?

Its a great improvement over Bobby's but the Riteway at Nanny Cay is still not very big ..good for bits and pieces but I'm not sure I'd do a full provision there. I'd get a delivery and top off with the local Riteway..and have a " best beer on the island" with Devon at "Gennakers"!

We were there last month > they literally had almost everything there > but I gave our two college kids "my wallet" and they walked out with a 3/4 basket full of food >>> $503 (that's five-hundred and three). Many the items were 25-50% above the rite way main store.

We just got back from our 5th trip out of Nanny Cay. The Riteway is a vast improvement over the old Bobby's store there but it is not where you would want to provison from. We provisioned with Riteway online, we were missing a few items but it was pretty good. We provisioned our liquids with Tico and again a couple things were missing, but again we were only charged for what we received and there are many spots to pick up those missing items, including the Nanny Cay Riteway. We love chartering with Horizon out of Nanny Cay. I am sure you will too. Have a great trip!

We preprovisioned with Caribbean cellars last month - they were out of a LOT of things - Tito's vodka, kracken rum, Pinot Grigio, and gallons of water. Yes, they were out of water. Maybe it was just a really busy weekend? Their online listing is impressive though. Not sure if we'll use them next time or try Ticos.

Thanks to all. Looks like we will provision the bulk from RiteWay and hit up Ticos.

Never been to Gennakers and we arrive on my birthday, so off to see Devon it will be!

We noticed that the prices are not the same from the main store on several items. We really welcome the new store, it is better than Bobby's has EVER been.

Is the Riteway at Nanny Cay close to the Horizon's office or is it down the road? I can't tell from the marina "map".

As long as the office is on the 2nd floor and not 1st...that's pretty close! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />
