Hello everyone! Lia and I have returned from 7 lovely nights on JVD at the Sea Crest Inn. The Sea Crest was very nice with big balcony, ac, cable, plenty of hot water and pressure, as well as a working toilet. We ate all over the island. We really enjoyed the trip. Below are some of the highlights: Hiking from the Sea Crest to the Bubble pool - awesome views The honor bar at Ivans and One Love - both are great spots. Burgers at Jewells Dinner at Foxys and Sandcastle Inexpensive Dinner at Harris Place Great appetizers at Taboo Listening to Reuben and the Big Black [censored] Hanging out and chatting with the Callwood boys, Vinny, and the island doctor. The friendly dogs on the island. The breakfast burrito at Corsairs Limin' at Ivans - Ivan is a great guy. Limin at One Love - Racquel is awesome. Snorkeling the Indians Checking out the baths Being taxi'ed in the new black expedition taxi with DVD player. Having Barryl (sp?) at A&B bake us fresh bread - priceless.
Only regret: drinking too much and not being alert to buy a CD from Reuben.
Summary: I believe our next visit we will split time between STJ and JVD. Both places are special and close enough to split a week. Thanks again and to all those going enjoy.
Let the CWS (Caribbean Withdrawal Syndrome) begin!!
take care, Mike
