If you're staying on the Dutch side, you might want to try the food market over in Maho just outside the the airport. We normally travel to the island this week and have never seen it closed for any of the April holidays. It's on the right as you enter the rotary into the little Maho village across from the Royal Islander La Plage. If you see the casino, you've gone too far.
Thanks so much. Arrived about 340pm. Took thrift shuttle and got our car no prob. Checked in to Beachside Villas and went to grand marche in Cupecoy for essentials-wine beer and rum!! Husbands cousin Lou had Piņa Coladas ready. Drank 2 now early to bed. We just don't have energy to go out to eat. Cheese and crackers it is. Tomorrow is another day.
