Pull up "Virgin Islands, British" It doesn't show wave size if you pull up "British Virgin Islands"

I like windguru for wind and waves. Otherwise, unless it is guaranteed to rain, roll the dice.. Every forecast I've ever seen for any trip shows clouds and rain every day. And most trips every day has been sunny or at least mostly sunny and no rain aside from a shower here or there.

I also use wind-guru, but have had 30-knot winds on days that were forecasts for 15.
Key thing is to pay attention to local weather cells. A hefty thunderstorm can bring a wind-foot with 40 knots for a few minutes.

I have been using the Accuweather Marine App and like it. It's more like a NOAA forecast and you can pull up the NOAA buoys.

They also have a Web App. http://www.marineweatherbybluefin.com/united-states/app

I use this in addition to wind guru. They will add a remark after sea state if any N swell is expected.
