We always park in the Club O parking lot for safety. We rent chairs and an umbrella near the watersports shack at the very end of the beach. Nice and quite at that end and never any seaweed.

Palm Beach offers free loungers if you have lunch there. Great French food and the service is great. You can eat at your lounger, at the bar or in the restaurant.

Kakao is centrally-located, which we like for walking the beach. The restaurant is also excellent.

I believe Karl has a high season rate? In November it was $20 for two cushioned chairs, umbrella, and table....but he said it was increasing to $25 the week we left....however he grandfathered our rate since we had been there several days over our trip.

Lena--as far as parking, there is plenty of parking at the beach and you do NOT have to worry about parking and someone saying you can't leave your car there if you're not using the chairs and umbrellas there. So, you can go somewhere fairly central, as Georgia suggested, and park and then walk up and down and decide where you want to get chairs. Although you don't have to eat at the same place either if you don't want to.

So, my advice is somewhat the same as I would give to someone who is going to Grand Case for the first time--park wherever you like, walk up and down and decide which place suits your fancy at that moment. The prices are going to vary on the chairs from around $20 to $25, not a huge difference. Then when it comes time to have lunch, eat where your chairs are, OR go somewhere else. It's really hard to go wrong on Orient!!

That has been our experience. I believe his high season rate begins on December 1, but we've always kept the low season rate until our departure around the 10th.

Yesterday we paid $20 at Kakao for the two chairs and umbrella, no drinks or such included. We did eat a wonderful lunch there. Parking is free.

We spent 3 days at Orient in April, which is a lot for us.
The first day we stopped at Kakao ($20 for chairs), but were not impressed with the greeting or trying to get a drink on the beach. We have eaten lunch there, in the past, but decided to go elsewhere and ended up at Cheryl's.

The 2nd (and 3rd) time we decided to stop at Kontiki and they were so friendly and loved their bathrooms--well worth the $20. There are bathrooms at Kakao, but not at all the same.
Definitely our go to place now!!

We were meeting friends at Orange Fever which was excellent! I loved the grouper so we went back the next time. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />
