Thismorning I got up and went to Bon Appetite for some pastries and we headed off for the beach. Baie Rouge was our destination. When we arrived the seaweed was so thick on the beach and in the water we didn't even go down the stairs. Off to Mullet for the day. We arrived and this couple pulls up and asks if we know where Dawn beach is. My wife starts to give directions and the guy and girl get out of the car and pull out some lucky scratch cards. I couldn't believe ow excited he was when she scratched off 3 lucks 7s. He NEVER has any one get that and he now gets a special commission if we just go to Divi or the Westin for the day and listen to a presentation. I'm realizing what is gong on as soon as the scratch cards come out but I just let my wife experience it all. After about 5 minutes of baking in the sun I step in and had to tell the guy we're going to spend the day here and won't be doing a timeshare pitch this trip. He was not happy. We finally get down to the beach and more seaweed had come in over night. This is getting a bit old but we had stopped and talked to Danny and he said there was none at cupecoy. Off we go and today we went to the side where Danny's beach bar is. We now have found one of our top three favorite beaches on the island. This place is secluded, beautiful, and just about perfect. The surf was up a bit but I still was able to do some snorkeling. We had ribs and chicken for lunch and couldn't believe how good they were and the price was unbelievable($14.00 for both). After lunch we were there just floating in the surf when something just floated up to my wife's back. I pulled her to me thinking it was a baby Ruth experience from caddie shack. Upon further investigation it is a baby turtle hatchling just laying there floating along getting kind of beat up in the surf. This was a really cool experience seeing something so tiny starting his life out on our little beach. He finally rested up and swam out to sea. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" />

We returned back to the Royal Palm for happy hour in the pool and had greenhouse leftovers for dinner.

I was talking to some people in the pool who said the jellyfish and seaweed were all gone from club o yesterday and that it was probably the best they had ever seen that part of the beach. We may spend our last day there or head back to cupecoy.

More to come tomorrow.
