We have been traveling yearly to Pinel for the day. Have enjoyed the trip over almost as much as the day at the beach. Trying to remember the names of some of the ferry operators who take you across. The guy with the whistle seems to be in charge most of the time. Any one remember what his name might be. He collects the money, hopes on board and operates the boat with just the use of one arm.

We always just referred to him as the "Ferry Nazi"... He does love that whistle!

That guy is a hoot! He loves to rant and rave, especially about local politics. I can almost hear him now calling to hurry up a slow moving female passenger..."Let's go Honey, Sugar, Baby"!
