Hey folks.... it's been a while for us, but anxious to return to the BVIs. Any issues with chartering in June? Restaurants still open? More or less crowded than April? Other things to consider? Much appreciated.

June is a great month to go and everything is open. Be aware that after the first week of June there is a mini high season as the kids get out of school and lots of families head down on charter. It gets a bit busy.

One of the best months with kids...plus cheaper on boats and hotel rooms....

This is our third year in a row going at some point in June and we have been as late as early July and found most places still open. At that point though a few places had started to close but not enough to dampen the trip by any stretch.

Usually can find good prices on boats that time as well. Just have to watch the hurricane forecast a little closer.

June is great. So is January through May, July through December. Every season has its highlights. The Caribbean Sea never closes, the wind rarely stops and the air always has its distinct flavor. Oh yes, and Riteway is open year round!

Maybe have the kids put on a talent show for the adults? Kids usually like to ham it up and what better place to do that than on the boat?

Thanks all. To sum up what I've learned:
"When are you arriving?"
[Insert any answer here]
"Excellent. Perfect time to be in the islands. Enjoy!"

June is a great month to go. Just enough crowd to meet new friends and not have to slug it out for mooring balls. I will say that it seems June is becoming a very popular month, 10 years ago it was a lot less crowded.

We board our Mooring's 42 the evening of June 1st. Me, the wife and two boys 12 and 14. We'll be flying the "No Shoes Nation" flag.

“Dawn comes early on a boat, right Captain? That’s right it happens everyday just about sun up!”

We are headed down June 4 - 11. Got two 444's from Sunsail and 8 couples. Rain or shine we should have a good time.

Been down there almost every June for 30 years. Sometimes it rains; sometimes it doesn't. We will be on a Moorings 50.5 June 3-10. If I remember to bring the pirate flag I will raise it. No need to be afraid.

We leave tomorrow night and head out from Conch on Saturday afternoon. Six of us on a Leopard 40, stop by for a beer if you see us. We'll be flying multiple Jolly Rogers at anchor.
