Is there any current road work causing traffic problems on the island? A couple of years ago getting through Marigot during the daytime was a real pain due to a road closure. Are there any areas to avoid at this time?

We drove through Margot two weeks ago and didn't have any construction delays, just the usual backups at stop signs.

And we were there before Scubaman for almost three weeks and all over the island - didn't see any roadwork anywhere.

Thanks for the current updates. The road through Marigot being closed two years ago caused some serious traffic problems during the day. One day we saw traffic backed up (and at a standstill) from Marigot all the way to Port de Plaisance. That was for those heading in to Marigot.
